Terms of Service

By accessing or using Arvelune (“the Service”, “the Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use Arvelune.

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notice.

You must meet all of the following requirements to use Arvelune:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Be legally capable of entering into a binding contract
• Not be prohibited from using the service under applicable law
• Not have had a previous Arvelune account terminated for violations

By using Arvelune, you represent and warrant that you meet all eligibility requirements. We reserve the right to verify eligibility and terminate accounts that do not comply.

To use Arvelune, you must create an account using a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update your information to keep it accurate. Providing false information, including a false age, is a violation of these terms and may result in immediate account termination.

You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account at support@arvelune.com.

You agree not to use Arvelune to:

• Post content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or discriminatory
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
• Post photos or content that is not of you, or that you do not have the right to share
• Solicit money, financial information, or gifts from other users
• Advertise or promote commercial services, products, or solicitations
• Engage in any form of spam, phishing, or scam activity
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the platform or other users' accounts
• Use automated scripts, bots, or other software to access or use the platform
• Violate any applicable local, national, or international law

You retain ownership of the content you submit to Arvelune, including photos and profile information. By submitting content, you grant Arvelune a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, display, and transmit your content as necessary to provide the service.

You represent and warrant that: (a) you own or have the right to submit the content; (b) the content does not infringe any third-party rights; (c) photos are genuine photos of you; and (d) you are at least 18 years old in any photos you submit.

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms or our community guidelines, without prior notice.

Arvelune's photo unlock feature requires both matched users to physically arrive at an agreed date location and exchange one-time codes (OTPs) to verify presence. Full-resolution profile photos become visible only after successful mutual OTP verification.

This feature is designed to protect user safety and encourage genuine in-person connections. Attempting to circumvent this system by sharing, manipulating, or fabricating OTP codes is a material breach of these terms.

Arvelune is committed to maintaining a safe platform. You agree to report any user who violates these terms, engages in threatening or harassing behavior, or whom you have reason to believe is a minor.

Report concerns through the in-app reporting feature or by emailing safety@arvelune.com. We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly.

While we work to maintain a safe environment, you acknowledge that Arvelune cannot guarantee the conduct of users. You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users, both online and offline. Always meet in public places for first dates.

Arvelune is currently in early access and is provided free of charge. We reserve the right to introduce paid features, subscriptions, or other pricing models in the future. If we do, we will provide users with reasonable advance notice before any charges take effect.

Early access members will be given fair transition terms. We do not intend to retroactively charge for features that were free during early access.

Arvelune is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that matches will result in successful relationships.

We are not responsible for the actions, content, or conduct of any user on or off the platform. Use of the platform is at your own risk.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Arvelune and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the platform.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or your use of Arvelune shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (which during early access is zero).

You may close your account at any time from within the app. We will process your account deletion within 30 days.

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account at our sole discretion, with or without notice, if we determine you have violated these terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or if required by law.

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before pursuing any formal dispute resolution process.
